Acupuncture activates self healing and deep relaxation. It’s a complete medicine that focuses on the whole person, mind, body, heart and one’s social connections and environment. It began in the East before Western medicine existed and it was used for all diseases and discomforts. Nowadays, acupuncture works well alongside western medicine and can be effective on its own in many instances. Hair thin needles are gently placed along energy channels in the body to promote circulation and energy flow.

Acupressure can be an effective replacement technique in lieu of acupuncture for young folks or those who have extra sensitivities. Instead of needles, firm pressure is applied with physical touch to provide healing relief. Pressure is tailored to each person's comfort levels so that it can be as deep or light as preferred.
Cupping - Small cups are placed over the skin to gently suction the muscle and release stuck blood to create openness, relaxation and blood flow. This is so helpful for neck and back tension, certain migraines/headaches, and stress relief. It can also relieve other muscle tension in the body.
Gua sha - A firm tool glides over the muscle and releases the neck, back and other joints. Especially effective for migraine prevention and stiff muscles.
